Satellite communication on any smartphone
Get better satellite communication capabilities than the iPhone 14 on any smartphone with the Motorola Defy Satellite Link. It is a compact satellite communication device that connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and enables satellite communication when you are outside of cellular range. The accessory uses the Bullitt satellite network to provide voice and messaging capabilities even in remote areas where traditional cellular networks are unavailable.
The Defy Satellite Link is built to withstand the rigours of the off-grid environment away from civilization. It's IP68-rated water-resistant, which means it is water resistant in fresh water up to a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 35 minutes. It also passed the Mil-Spec 810H testing, which is rigorous testing focused on environmental conditions including extreme temperature, moisture, dust and shock.
The battery can last for days depending on usage. It also comes with physical buttons for SOS and location check-ins without a smartphone.
