Quick release transformation
The Scubajet Hybridboard is a two-in-one electric board that can transform between a e-foil and an e-surfboard using a quick release system that does not require any tools. The carbon fiber board measures 68.5″ x 24.8″ (174 cm x 63 cm) and weighs 25.35 lbs (11.5 kg).
Inside are slots for two 1.7 kWh battery packs which provide power to the propulsion system for up to 3 hours on the e-foil configuration or 40 minutes on the e-surfboard configuration. Not only does it runs longer, it is also faster as an e-Foil than as a e-surfboard with a top speed of 31 mph (50 km/h). The top speed as an e-surfboard is 28 mph (45 km/h).
Throttle is controlled by a wireless trigger remote, which also features cruise control. Speed and battery levels can be monitored with an Apple watch or on the remote.
The Hybridboard can be purchased as an all-in-one, which includes both e-foil and e-surfboard parts , or purchased with only e-foil or e-surf parts. E-foil kits and e-surf upgrade kits are available if you decide to purchase separately.
