Tarform Raye Electric Jetski stands out like an alien watercraft

Inspired by the manta ray

The Tarform Raye Electric Watercraft is an upcoming electric personal watercraft (PWC) from Tarform, a Brooklyn-based startup that specializes in designing and manufacturing sustainable electric motorcycles. The Raye is designed to be an eco-friendly alternative to traditional gas-powered PWCs, with a sleek, minimalist design and a focus on sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.

Inspired by the graceful movements and unique body structure of the manta ray, Raye features a futuristic, angular look that sets it apart from other PWCs on the market. The body is made from sustainable materials like recycled carbon fiber and flax seed weave-reinforced composite, and the seat is upholstered in vegan leather. The Raye also features a digital display, allowing the rider to easily monitor their speed, battery life, and other important metrics.

Two versions are planned for the electric jetski: one with 70 horsepower electric motor and 1 hour of ride time and the other a 120 horsepower version with a 2 hour ride time. Top speed is estimated to be 43 knots or 50 mph.

While the Tarform Raye is still in development, the company has already garnered significant interest from both eco-conscious consumers and water sports enthusiasts. The Raye is set to launch in the near future, and could be a game-changer for the world of electric watercraft.
