Inspired by Audi's Dakar racer
The Audi e-tron electric mountain bike is part of Audi's expanding range of electric mobility solutions and is aimed at adventure and outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy mountain biking.
The e-tron mountain bike features a lightweight aluminum/carbon fiber enduro frame and high-quality components, including a 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle gear system, IN.CA.S hydraulic disc brakes, a dropper seatpost with a Sella Italia Novus Boost EVO saddle, full Öhlins squish comprising a RFX38 M.2 suspension fork with 180 mm of travel and a TTX22M mountain bike coil shock. The electric motor is a 250W Brose S-Mag mid-mount located in the bottom bracket, providing a smooth and powerful pedal assist that can propel the bike up steep hills and rough terrain.
The e-tron mountain bike also features a range of high-tech features, including a color display that provides information on speed, range, battery life, and other important metrics on the Renthal Fatbar V2 handlebar. The bike is equipped with 720Wh 36V Fantic Integra, an advanced lithium-ion battery.
The Audi e-tron mountain bike has a mullet configuration with a bigger 29″ Mavic wheel in front and a smaller 27.5″ Mavic at the back with 2.8″ Vittoria E-Martello tires for better performance on descents and over rocks.
