Forget about smartwatches. Today it's all about activity trackers and Sony doesn't want to be left out. According to Sony, the Smartband is more than just an activity tracker, it's a life tracker. It does what activity trackers typically do – counts steps, calories burned, sleep activity and more – but through its Lifelog app, the Smartband also helps the wearer note everything from the weather, to the music you're listening, or anything you can think of. It can also be used as a media player remote for your Android phone and vibrates when you receive a call or text message or when you're too far away from your phone.
