MetaBeast and MetaBeast X
The Sondors Metacycle is a groundbreaking electric motorcycle featuring a radically efficient design, offering a comfortable and easy-to-maneuver ride for everyday use. It is equipped with a 14-kW (peak) hub motor, enabling a top speed of 60 mph (100 km/h) and a real-world range of 60 miles (100 km) from its 4-kWh battery. Under ideal conditions, the range can extend up to 80 miles.
Sondors expanded its lineup with the MetaBeast, catering to urban riders and off-road enthusiasts. The MetaBeast is available in two models, both based on a weld-free aluminum exo-frame. The off-road model features a 6-kW peak mid-drive motor, peak torque of 40 Nm (29.5 lb.ft), a top speed of 50 mph (80 km/h), and a weight of 123 lb (55.8 kg). Its 72-V/30-Ah (2.16-kWh) battery allows for up to 44 miles (71 km) at a steady 25 mph. The bike is equipped with a digital display, high front fender, rear coil shock, knobbly rear tire, and disc brakes.
The street-legal MetaBeast X version, designed for urban commuting and weekend trail riding, comes with an 18-kW (peak) motor, 60 Nm (44 lb.ft) of torque, and a top speed of 75 mph (120 km). Its 96-V/55-Ah (5.28-kWh) battery can deliver up to 78 miles (125.5 km) at 31 mph on a single charge, and the bike weighs 200 lb (91 kg).
The MetaBeast model can be reserved for $3,000 until April 11, after which the price will be $4,500. The MetaBeast X is available for $6,500 until the same date, and then it will increase to $8,000. Both models have an estimated shipping date in October. The Sondors Metacycle offers guilt-free riding pleasure, optimized for daily life and adventure, allowing riders to go beyond what they believe is possible.
