World's first cruiser e-bike with belt drive
The E-Coast by Priority Bicycles is not the first e-bike with a belt drive but it is the first cruiser e-bike to use belt drive instead of chains. It's made to resist the corrosive salt, sand, and water in coastal environments. The 3-inch fat tires absorb bumps and is perfect for sandy beaches and stormy conditions. For further comfort, the vacuum molded vinyl leather saddle comes with elastomer shock absorbers.
The integrated rack is for carrying what you need for the beach and it is where the 576 Wh battery is housed. Pedal assist is provided by the 500 W rear hub motor with a top speed of 28 mph and 60 mile range. The built-in lights has a brake sensing function to make it safer for night riding. And the motor also shuts off when you use the hydraulic brakes.
