Like most fitness bands, it tracks steps, calories burned, distance travelled, and sleep patterns, but also lets you know if you've been sitting around too long. This is important since no amount of exercise can counteract the effects of sitting too long. The Vivofit also has the ability to automatically adjust your fitness goals based on the day's activity levels and present them to you in the morning. The large display always stays on to show you how well you're doing.
