Lets face it. Working out on an exercise bike can quickly get boring and they often end up as a clothes horse for hanging clothing at home.
On the other hand, there’s the VirZoom, which is an exercise bike that works with Oculus Rift, the Sony Playstation VR, and HTC Vive to make working out a much more immersive and fun experience.
The VirZoom bike has sensors at the pedals controlling speed in a game. Pedal hard on the bike and you’ll move faster in the game. Controls on the handle bar allows you to do actions in the game like shoot or jump. Directional control is achieved by head movement or by leaning to the left or right through the virtual headset.
The one thing VirZoom does very well is make you forget you’re exercising so you can essentially working out without feeling the work.
