On long flights or as an everyday shoe, the Vibram Furoshiki seems ideal. They’re lightweight, comfortable (it feels like house slippers), and does not restrict blood flow to your feet. They also pack very small. You can easily pack it in your bag for traveling. It even fits inside your pocket.
The upper is made of stretch fabric and fits nicely on any foot type. It dries quickly too, perfect for river crossing or water sports. Some use it for hiking and running with good result.
If you like barefoot running but don’t want to injure your feet on rough pavement, you might like the Furoshiki as it still allows you feel the ground.
