The YI 4K action camera is half the price of the GoPro Hero4 Black Edition but with newer and better components. It also has a 2.19-inch retina widescreen touch display (available with the GoPro Silver). Video quality seems to be better on the YI 4K than the GoPro. It does better in low light and responds to light changes better than the GoPro. At $250 compared to $500 for the GoPro Hero4 Black Edition, it’s hard not to go for the YI 4K instead especially when budget is a concern.
