If you have a GoPro, you can get a good footage of yourself in action by mounting it to your helmet, bike, skateboard, or use the range of GoPro accessories available on the market. But nothing beats capturing the action using the AirDog, a quadcopter drone that automatically follows you around. You wear the remote (called the AirLeash) on your wrist or helmet but you don't have to control the AirDog the whole time. Simply turn on the AirLeash and the AirDog, press “take off”, and you're done. You can also adjust the distance and angle with the remote if you want; advanced features can be set from your smartphone. Once the initial setup is done, all you have to do is concentrate on pulling off your best performance and let the AirDog do the rest.
We can't wait to see more action sports footage taken to another level so please get one from Kickstarter at a discounted price while you still can. We got a feeling that it's going to sell out quick.
$1,195 The AirDog was successfully funded on Kickstarter but they did not deliver on their promises and disappeared.
