It’s not the first device that tracks your bike rides, provides anti-theft protection, or gives you its location, but unlike most devices of its kind WI-MM's BP100 does not require pairing with your smartphone. You can pair it with your phone though for added functionality via bluetooth but it has its own cellular modem for accessing online maps to track routes ridden among other things. The BP100 also includes data on riding speed at any particular location on the map as well as calories burned, and total distance travelled. If the bike is stolen, the built-in motion detector triggers an alarm, and you can check its current location via smartphone. It also notifies people you’ve preselected in case of an accident. Mounts on the frame's water bottle cage base, while still allowing a cage to be mounted on top of it.
