Maybe one day cyclers would not need to worry about getting hit by a car anymore thanks to excellent bike lanes and such but for now, the Backtracker got you covered. Cameras and rear view mirrors may let you know when a car is approaching close but the Backtracker can detect cars up to 150 yard (140 m) away even in the rain and fog.
It comes in two units: one to serve as an indicator for the cyclist and the other to serve as a rear bike light that increases its flicker rate as cars approach. The Backtracker can also indicate the speed and distance of rear-approaching vehicles so you'll know what to expect and act accordingly. You'll be able to enjoy the ride more without worrying too much about cars approaching.
