There are so many fitness trackers these days so it takes a good one to capture our attention. The TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio Watch seems to fit the bill and at $299.99, it better be. Much like the Mio Alpha, it measures your heart rate using LED lights on the bottom by tracking fluctuations in blood flow to come up with how fast the heart is pumping the blood. No chest strap required.
With the heart rate information, you can set a zone to match your training goals you always know when to push harder or take it down. Unlike the MIO, the Multi-Sport Cardio comes with GPS which allows you among other things to ghost run against your previous time and see how you're doing in real time. It also tracks your distance, speed, and calories burnt and there's an option to help you with interval training. The one button control and the large display makes navigating through the menu easy.
